Simply fill out an application and we can automatically debit your checking or savings account each month for your monthly gas bill.
You will receive a statement each month after your bank draft is processed confirming that your bill has been paid.
Budget Billing
Are you tired of trying to budget your monthly utility costs? Trying to keep up with your monthly budget can be a hassle with family birthdays, holidays and other special events. The last thing you want to try to budget is utility costs, and since your energy needs vary with the weather, home equipment efficiency, family size and other factors, Budget Billing could be your answer!
Here's how it works:
1. Applicant must be a CMC Gas customer for 12 months to qualify. Applicants who qualify can sign
up at any time, but it will not be effective until September.
2. CMC Gas evaluates your previous year's annual gas usage.
3. CMC Gas estimates your current annual energy needs.
4. CMC Gas divides your estimated usage over the previous 12 months.
5. Every 3 months CMC Gas recalculates and your budget amount will increase or decrease
according to the prior gas usage for those 3 months. The recalculation will be a process that
occurs every 3 months during the time you are on the program.
All you have to do is fill out a simple application and we take care of the rest!
Gas Appliance and Water Heater Programs
By participating in the gas appliance incentive program of CMC Gas, the undersigned agrees to the following:
A) The participant is responsible for the purchase and installation of the particular gas appliance and for complying with all local codes and obtaining all permits necessary for the installation.
B) All warranties and liabilities are that of the Merchant's, Manufacturer's and/or Plumber's.
C) The participant is to present a copy of the receipt showing purchase price, vendor, and date of purchase of the natural gas appliance.
D) The participant must allow a visual Safety Inspection of the gas appliance installation by a representative of CMC Gas during our normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
E) The participant will receive a credit for the designated amount on their gas account, during the next billing cycle (approximately 30 days), after a visual inspection and approval of the installation.
F) To have the gas appliance installed by a State of Alabama Certified Master Gas Fitter or Plumber.
G) Participant must have the installer complete the gas appliance installation form and return it to CMC Gas.
H) Participant must certify he/she is the property owner or has the authority to have such installation made on the premises.
